The content of the course is easy for me to relate to because of the excellent teaching methods used in class. It teaches me numerous aspects in Spanish, such as: greeting, Weather, number, my family, myself, my house, time and verb use. It provides me with all the learning materials necessary so that I can understand and speak this new language exceptionally well. It also provides information on how Spanish is widely spoken throughout the Caribbean, its importance as a foreign language and information about Spanish speaking countries. The content also teaches me different methods in which a teacher can utilize in her classroom while teaching by the M.I theory. Also that classroom filters should always be kept low which helps greatly to promote learning. My feeling on the usage of computer in putting across the learning material is good. Since the world is becoming more modernized and technologically advanced, by using the internet to present us with information pertaining to our class makes it very convenient for student since all the information and learning material are online. Even in the case of the teacher’s absence work is always online for us to perform. Since all learning materials and audio aids are always online it helps us greatly with our tasks and pronunciation of new words. The tasks were fun, interesting, informative, challenging at time and different from anything I have ever done. I enjoyed every bit of it. Miss Wilbury seems to make everything simple by the way she puts over her classes so we can understand better and as a direct result she makes the task easier. The thing I like most about the course was the task of making the pop up book and puppets. It was both fun and enjoyable to do. Who would have ever thought that these things were so simple to make and be of great help to any teacher’s classroom! It was both fun to make as well as makes learning fun. I can also honestly say that I do not dislike any aspect of this course. I always felt that the course for me was a bit challenge since I have never done Spanish before but now I have a greater appreciation for the language and aid used in teaching. This is as a result of Ms. Wilbury great teaching method combined with the use of the internet. My overall impression about the course is good since it introduces students to a foreign language and a modern technique by the use of the internet. I would recommend that Miss Wilburg teaching method of using the internet to distribute task and teaching aid should be adopted by all lectures since it allows extra work to be done outside the class room with her guidance. In concluding, I would like to say that the course is excellent, fun and educational. It was great how the content of the course outline was reflected by the work taught and by the task delegated by Ms. Wilburg. The use of technology was also noticeable and commendable. Even though the course was challenge at times the hard work was rewarding. I am happy to have given it my best effort.
